Brierley Forest Park & Visitor Centre - Green Flag Award - Brierley Forest Park Visitor Centre, which was opened in December 1999, has full access for disabled people including free wheelchair hire. Information on some beautiful routes around the park suitable for wheelchair users is available

Sherwood Avenue Park - Green Flag Award - Surfaced pathways suitable for wheelchairs. Garden areas with seating for rest and relaxation
Sherwood Pines Forest Park - White trail - A surfaced trail suitable for easy access. Easy Access Parking Spaces are located within the main car park next to the main access paths.
Teversal Trails - Parts of the trails are suitable for wheelchair access, cycling and horse riding and there is much improved wheelchair access at the centre and toilets.
Thieves Wood - White Trail - A surfaced trail suitable for easy access. This is a short circular surfaced trail which provides a pleasant walk or a quick stroll.

Wollaton Hall & Deer Park - The hall has - Lift access , Tactile models of the park and hall with audio descriptions , A route plan with guide in Braille, A signed welcome video, Subtitled videos.
Woodthorpe Grange Park - Disability Access, On Site Parking . Tropical House, Sunken Gardens, Formal Gardens
Country Parks
Bestwood Country Park - The Park entrances are all equipped with kissing gates which can be fully opened with a RADAR key to allow wheelchair and mobility scooter access.
Broxtowe Country Park - Disability Access, an impressive forty six hectares
Colwick Country Park - Disability Access, Cycling and horse-riding are particularly popular as the majority of paths in the area have been dedicated as a Public Bridleway - see also this PDF map
Cotgrave Country Park - Most paths are stone surfaced and suitable for walkers, wheelchairs, prams and pushchairs, but please be aware that some of the lower lying paths may get wet and muddy during spells of bad weather.
Rufford Abbey Country Park - The site is flat and thus easy for pushchairs, prams, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
Rushcliffe Country Park (Ruddington) - The park is accessible to wheelchair users via the car park entrance, or from Barleylands in Ruddington. The paths around the lake are flat, with minor slopes around the rest of the Country Park. There are toilets with disabled access.
Vicar Water Country Park - Green Flag Award - Footpaths and cycleways suitable for all abilities including the Sustrans National Route 6 and the Timberland Trail
Nature Reserves
Attenborough Nature Centre - The Nature Reserve is on one level with some steeper slopes over bridges. The path surfaces, in the main, are accessible to all. The Nature Centre is fully accessible being all on one level. An accessible toilet is available. A wheelchair can be borrowed to get from the car park to the Nature Centre
Daneshill Lakes LNR - There is a network of surfaced paths allowing access to the site for everyone, including people with restricted mobility
Martin's Pond LNR - Green Flag Award - Disability Access
Meden Trail LNR - There is access for the disabled at the main car parks to some parts of the trail.
Oak Tree Heath LNR - There are several rough surface paths throughout the site and a path suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs surrounding the site.
Sandy Banks LNR - Green Flag Award - Disability Access
Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve - We offer free loan of wheelchairs and an electric mobility scooter is available for loan at £2 per hour. Please book in advance, tel: 01623 83202.
Skylarks Nature Reserve - The reserve was created in 1982 and is believed to have been the first of its kind in the country laid out specifically for the benefit of wheelchair users
