Walks Greenspaces and Countryside
Blackhill Easier Access Trail - panoramic views to the east over Worcestershire and the Severn Vale. Information board at wheelchair height. Accessible toilet at British Camp (5 minutes drive away). Disabled parking bays available -charges apply.
Clent Hills - This is a gentle 1ml (1.6km) walk. A wide ‘all-ability’ path, with compacted gravel and little gradient, goes to the fantastic viewpoint of The Four Stones. It is suitable for pushchairs and most wheelchairs.
Eckington Wharf Picnic Place - W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate fishing from wheelchairs/mobility vehicles
Fish Hill Picnic Place - W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible, has accessible toilets.
Gateway Park (Droitwich) - The tow path is on the other side of the canal just over the bridge from the park and is wheelchair accessible
Great Malvern - The Worcestershire Beacon - Pushchairs or wheelchairs are no problem. Start from the Wyche Cutting car parks
Jubilee Bridge Picnic Place - W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate fishing from wheelchairs/mobility vehicles.
Kingsford Forest Park - W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is accessible to wheelchairs and that there are disabled toilet facilities on site
Malvern Hills Easier Access Trails (2) - The steep and rugged terrain of the Malvern Hills makes them inaccessible to some people, but there are now two specially-constructed Easier Access Trails enabling everyone to enjoy their beauty.
Pershore Bridges Picnic Place - W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible, has accessible toilets and can accommodate fishing from wheelchairs/mobility vehicles.
Pump House Environment Centre - Disabled access, toilets and baby changing facilities
Sanders Park (Bromsgrove) - Green Flag Award - These facilities include a flat outdoor bowling green, two tennis courts, putting green, outdoor skate park, two Multi Use Games areas and a state of the art children's play area, Jubilee Bandstand and a pavilion housing a cafe, information desk, ladies, gents and disabled toilets.
Country Parks
Arrow Valley Country Park - Green Flag Award - The park incorporates a 29 acre man made lake, a tarmac foot path which gives full disabled access around the park and lake
Waseley Hills Country Park - Green Flag Award - Blue badge holders free parking. The Skylark Trail covers part of the park. It has a gentle gradient without stiles or steps and takes about 40 minutes to complete at a steady pace. W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets.
Worcester Woods Country Park - Green Flag Award - The woodland walk in particular has a good firm surface even after heavy rain and is accessible for most wheelchair users. W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets.
Nature Reserves
Knapp and Papermill Nature Reserve - Stone path runs 0.5 km into reserve. Steep gradients. Access to the remainder of reserve is earth paths. Mostly gates, some stiles to more remote areas
St. Wulstan's LNR - Green Flag Award - W.C.C. informed ACE that the site is wheelchair accessible and has accessible trails
Wyre Forest NNR - There are a number of waymarked trails in the Forest (some suitable for wheelchair users) as well as regular guided walks. There are also family cycle routes through the reserve.
