Access for all in the Yorkshire Dales National Park - A guide to access opportunities for visitors who are less mobile, are wheelchair users or who have young children.
Anglers Country Park (Wakefield) - Green Flag Award - Pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Free car parking with disabled bays. Free loan of electric mobility scooters
Ardsley easy access This flat route, circling around the edge of Ardsley Reservoir, is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Aysgarth Falls - The National Park Centre café nearby is wheelchair accessible and can cater for specific dietary requirements. Level footpath runs through Freeholders’ Wood with great views of the Middle Falls. All gates are accessible and there are seating areas along the route
Barlow Common - There is a circular route. The route is approx 800m. The path surface consists of crushed stone.There are seats or resting places at regular intervals (100m) along the route.There are kissing gates on site which are located next to larger gates which can be opened for wheelchair and scooter users.
Beechwood Park (Holmfield) - There is a circular routes that is 1.2km long. The path is wide and generally smooth, but the tarmac is cracked in places. The path has passing places. There are no steep gradients. There are accessible picnic benches on site.
Bebra Gardens (Knaresborough) - Disabled access - Via the main entrance on Brewerton Street. The Gardens are built on quite a steep slope that may cause difficulties for wheelchair users or the elderly. There are disabled toilets in the Castle Yard.
Blackmoorfoot easy access - The path is flat and easy, the only gradients are a short ramp at the entrance at point 3 and on the public highway at Back Lane between points 5 and 6. The route is 1.3 miles long.

Brayton Barff easy access - The route is surfaced with short minor gradients. The route is 1.3 miles long.
Clarence gardens (York) - There is easy access with level pathways.
Cliffe Wood is located between Old Mill and Cundy Cross, about 1.5 kilometres east of the centre of Barnsley. It lies on the north side of the River Dearne and forms the northern part of Dearne Valley Park, a Local Nature Reserve. The car park for Dearne Valley Park is close to the wood. Access to the site is generally straightforward, including in places, for those with pushchairs or wheelchairs.
Conyngham Hall Grounds (Knaresborough) - Disabled access - The main entrance is accessible. It is worth noting that entrance to the grounds is via a long gentle slope. Disabled toilets are located at the entrance to the car park
Cotter Force - This 490m level path alongside the beck is suitable for wheelchairs. The surface is constructed of compacted stone with a general width of 110cm.
Cromwell Bottom - There are circular and linear routes. The circular route is 1.6km long. The linear route is 330m long. The path surface is generally smooth and consists of crushed stone. The path has passing places. There are no steep gradients or cambers. A RADAR key is required to open the kissing gates fully for easier access for wheelchair and scooter users.
Cumberland Trail (Bolton Abbey) - 700 metres - The trail is a circular woodland nature trail with interpretation displays, bird hide, barn exhibition, and there are many resting places along the trail. Accessible Toile. Charge of  £4.00 per car or £2.50 for disabled badge holders. Car parking available.
Dalby Forest (Pickering) - (Charges) - Dalby Forest Visitor Centre is fully wheel chair accessible and all the toilet blocks include disabled toilet facilities. Easy access trails are available at Dalby (Dalby Beck), Staindale Lake and Bickely (Waitcliff Trail). The Friends of Dalby Forest have provided two electric buggies and two wheelchairs for use by visitors.
Damflask easy access - Situated near the charming village of Low Bradfield this long circular easy access route gives ample scope to enjoy long stretches of woodland and waterside.
East Park (Hull) - Green Flag Award - inclusive cycling scheme in East Park provides opportunities for disabled children and young people to experience cycling. Wheelchairs and mobility vehicles will be available, free of charge, to those who have additional mobility needs.
Eccup easy access - On the outskirts of Leeds, the route on this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) runs alongside part of Eccup Reservoir and across the dam.

Fewston easy access (Otley) - This is a short level path that guides you along the edge of Fewston Reservoir to a viewing point overlooking the calm waters.
Fimber Picnic Site & Wayrham Picnic Site (Fridaythorpe) - Picnic tables are located throughout the sites, some of which are accessible for wheelchairs.
Firth Park (Sheffield) - Green Flag Award - has a sensory garden but we could not find any disabled access info published on the council website.

Graves Park (Sheffield) - The public toilets adjacent to the cafe are fully accessible and have baby changing facilities. No disabled access info found please contact the council.
Hawes to the Wensleydale Creamery - This 450m linear route follows the Pennine Way from the church in Hawes to the Wensleydale Creamery. The first 70m of the trail are cobbled with a gradient of 1:7.
Heritage Time Trail (Otley) - It is a fairly good surface suitable for mobility scooters and only has two steeply sloping sections.
Hull Road Park (York) - There is easy access with mostly level pathways.
Kiveton Waters - Kiveton Waters extends to 10 acres encompassing three lakes with 79 pegs, including disabled platforms. There is adequate car parking on site with good access to the disabled pegs, as well as a purpose built amenities block.
Knaresborough Castle - The main entrance is accessible and pathways run around the yard. Disabled toilets are located at the entrance to the castle site
Langsett easy access - Starting near the reservoir at Langsett Barn, this easy access route runs along the northern shore of Langsett reservoir. This is a short route with some steep sections but you can always take a breather at one of our viewing point along the way. The route is 0.5 miles long.
Langsett easy access 2 - Starting near the reservoir at Langsett Barn, this two-way easy access route runs along good hard surfaced woodland tracks. The trail is suitable for most users as there are no steep inclines and there are benches on route with stunning views. The route is 2.5 miles long.

Norfolk Heritage Park (Sheffield) - Green Flag Award - The Centre in the Park is a purpose-built, community building and has a range of facilities including fully accessible toilets, level-floor access and Braille signage.
North Duffield Carrs (York) - 595 metres - The trail takes you alongside North Duffield Carrs which is part of the Lower Derwent Valley NNR. No accessible toilets. No admission charge. Car parking available.

North York Moors National Park Authority Accessible trails - The North York Moors National Park Authority has developed eight fully accessible routes for heavy duty wheelchairs and pushchairs through woodland, along riversides, by lakes, overlooking the Heritage Coast, through the heart of the moorland and around an important archaeological site.
Oakwell Hall Gardens and Park (Kirklees) - Every effort has been made to allow easier access to the Formal Gardens and the Park, access for mobility scooter users and wheelchair users is possible to the gardens via ramps. Ogden easy access - This level route runs around the edges of Ogden Reservoir, taking you near the plantation intriguingly named Spice Cake Hills and passing over the Ogden and Skirden Clough streams, the main feeders for the reservoir. The route is 1.2 miles long.

Ryburn easy access - This is a short, 350 metre route running over the dam at Ryburn Reservoir where there are panoramic views over the glistening waters.
Sandall Beat Wood - Includes Covill's Trail, a 2 kilometre way-marked circular path, provides a hard, level surface that is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs
Sandall Park (Doncaster) - There are three marked disabled parking bays in the main car park – one next to the toilets and two next to the picnic area. The picnic area has tarmac paths that lead to picnic benches that have extended ends to assist wheelchair users
Scar House easy access - Using our private tarmac access road the gradient from Scar House Reservoir is only gradual. The route is 3.7 miles long.

Swinsty easy access - This easy access route around Swinsty Reservoir nestles in the stunning Washburn Valley and provides breathtaking views across the water and the surrounding landscape, especially from the embankment. The route is 3 miles long.

Campsall Country Park - The once private pleasure gardens of Campsall Hall are now accessible to everyone for enjoyment and recreation.
Frickley Country Park (South Elmsall) - Disabled access is generally good; however some of the slopes of the former tip are steep due to the lay of the land.
Humber Bridge Country Park (Hull) - the Hessle Foreshore entrance is accessible on a flat, level step-free path, through a wide kissing gate suitable for the majority wheelchairs and modern scooters. All the trails start from this location. A hard, firm and smooth path surface is provided throughout the reserve, which is always wide enough to allow people to walk side by side. There are rest areas, such as seats or perches provided every 100 metres along the paths, and the picnic areas are designed to accommodate visitors using wheelchairs. The maximum steepness of the paths is 1:12, apart one path on the cliff trail in the southwest corner of the reserve where there is a 1:5 slope for 10m.

Ulley Country Park (Rotherham) - Good access for people with physical disabilities - The 19 hectares park, complete with over 12 hectares of water, is the perfect place to take a stroll, jog or walk your dog and has a flourishing environment just waiting to be explored
