Barnwell Country Park - "Our Country Parks are safe and have managed areas with sign posted trails. There are well maintained surfaced paths and plenty of seating. Brixworth Country Park - "Our country parks are safe and have managed areas with sign posted trails. There are well maintained surfaced paths and plenty of seating. Blue badge holder parking is available situated near to accessible toilets. Pay and display charges apply. Electric mobility buggies are available for hire at Brixworth Country Park." "There is a specialist wheelchair bike available for hire at Brixworth Country Park. Fermyn Woods Country Park - "Our country parks are safe and have managed areas with sign posted trails. There are well maintained surfaced paths and plenty of seating. Hazelborough Woods - "The woodland can be accessed by wheelchairs and mobility scooters from the car park, and along the forest road. There is no circuit of easy access however, so wheelchairs would have to double back on themselves" from the Forestry England website

Nene Wetlands - "Central to the Nene Valley is the Nene Wetlands nature reserve, a unique one square mile of wild and man-made habitats, managed for wildlife and people" "Wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Pitsford Water - "Nestled in rolling rural Northamptonshire, Pitsford Water offers something for everyone. And with a well-marked, hard-surfaced seven-mile waterside track, you’ll have a great day out whatever your ability. In partnership with Brixworth Country Park, just a stone’s throw away, we’re the ideal spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or a family day out." Salcey Forest - "We have walking, running, cycling and horse trails to be explored in an abundance of history and wildlife. Salcey Forest is located 7 miles from Northampton and 15 miles from Milton Keynes and is an ideal place for visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy and discover this ancient semi-natural woodland accredited by the Visitor attraction Quality Assurance Scheme. Additionally, there is an on-site cafe, disabled and family toilet facilities and a visitor information centre. Stoke Bruerne - Canal - We understand that the towpath between the village and the Blisworth Tunnel is suitable for wheelchair users

Summer Leys Nature Reserve - "An old gravel pit transformed into an internationally important haven for breeding and wading birds" "The site is wheelchair friendly.
